The quality of ultrasonic plastic welding depends on three factors: the amplitude of the welding head probe, the applied pressure and the welding time. The welding time and the welding head pressure are adjustable, the amplitude is determined by the probe and the amplitude transformer. The interaction of these three quantities has a suitable value. When the energy exceeds the appropriate value, the amount of molten plastic is large, the weld is easy to deform. If the energy is small, it is not easy to weld firmly, and the applied pressure cannot be too large. The optimal pressure is the product of the edge length of the welded part and the optimal pressure on 1 mm of the edge.

Switch
Control the opening and closing of the power supply of the ultrasonic generator
Voltmeter
The load current of the induction generator is mainly used for monitoring. When the ultrasonic is working, the greater the load current, the higher the voltage. During the no-load test, the voltage should be zero.
Ammeter
Detect the working current of the generator when the ultrasonic wave is oscillating.
Overload indicator light
When the ultrasonic vibration is abnormal, the light will be on, and the vibration will stop.
Sonic test
The function is to check whether the ultrasound is normal. Press the sonic test button for 1~2 seconds to see if the load indicator light is on, the amplitude display, and the ammeter readings are within the normal range.
Note
1.When adjusting the output frequency of the ultrasonic generator, the change in the size of the ammeter does not indicate the power output, but only the resonance between the ultrasonic generator and the transducer system (the smaller the current, the better the resonance).
2.When the ultrasonic generator is empty, the ammeter indicates the resonance degree; when it is loaded, the ammeter indicates the output energy.
When adjusting the frequency of the ultrasonic generator, if the overload indicator light is on, release the test switch immediately, and after 2~3 seconds, turn the “fine-tuning frequency screw” again to perform ultrasonic testing.
